Who we are
Flectra (ABN 74 852 587 452) is an Australian software company. Any questions about this policy or how we handle your information can go to legal@flectra.com.au.
What this policy covers
This policy covers the Flectra website and Council Radar, our council capital works tracking product. It doesn’t cover third-party sites we link to.
What we collect
When you visit the website, we collect standard analytics information: pages viewed, referrer, device type and approximate location (derived from IP address, not precise GPS data).
When you contact us, we collect what you give us directly: typically your name, email address and employer.
Council Radar works from information already published by local councils in agendas, minutes and officer reports. We don’t collect personal information about council staff or the public beyond what appears in those public documents.
How we use it
- To provide and improve the website and Council Radar.
- To respond to your enquiries.
- To keep the site running securely.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your data. We don’t use information you give us when you get in touch for anything other than responding to you.
Where it’s held
Data is held in Australian regions by default. Some of the tools we use for analytics, email and scheduling may process data outside Australia as part of their standard operation. Where a provider processes data outside Australia, we ensure it’s handled under comparable protections.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or raise a complaint by emailing legal@flectra.com.au. If you aren’t satisfied with our response, you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one on this page, with the last-updated date shown above.
