About Flectra
Procurement intelligence, months ahead of the tender sites.
Flectra is an Australian software company, founded in 2025. Its platform, Flectra Radar, builds a proprietary data set of public-sector buying intent and turns it into an early view of what government is about to buy, the mandates going back to market, the grants and programs on offer, and who is winning the work.
What we do
Councils, utilities and authorities signal capital projects, IT migrations, expiring contracts and mandates, grants and funding programs months before anything is advertised. No bid team can watch that across 537 councils and the public bodies around them. Radar structures it all into one proprietary data set and connects it: what’s likely to become work, where the gaps are, and who is winning it. In many ways we do the reading on your behalf, looking for the gaps your business can fill.
Who it’s for
Bid and business development managers who sell to government across Australia: waste and resource recovery, council IT and ERP, engineering and professional services. And the growth teams at broking and advisory firms who hold or challenge appointed mandates, where the relationship is built 12 to 18 months before the tender. Anyone whose sales cycle starts long before a tender is advertised, and who’d rather build the relationship early than compete for it late.
How we work
Works only from the public record
Council papers, budget documents, contract registers and regulator filings are the entire input. No private tip-offs, no scraped internal systems, nothing a public body hasn’t already published.
Every signal links back to its source
A lead in Radar points to the exact document, page and paragraph it came from. You can open the original and check it yourself before you act on it.
Australian-built and Australian-hosted
The software is written in Australia and the data stays in Australia. Council records are handled the way an Australian bid team would expect.
Narrow, not a suite
Radar does one job: public-sector market intelligence, from the first public signal to the awarded contract and the appointed mandate. We’d rather do that properly than bolt it onto a do-everything procurement suite.
See what your buyers are about to buy. Before anyone else.
Tell us the buyers you sell to and the category you’re in, and we’ll show you the opportunities already forming in your territory.
